WHITE STUFF: MAKING AND DESIGNING
In preparation for an interview as a Visual Artist with lifestyle clothing store White Stuff, I was asked to complete three different tasks:
Make a Brussels Sprout
Cellophane: Melting cellophane with a hairdryer and painting |
Clay: Starting off with a clay ball and then layering over it with leaf shapes made of clay. Heating with hairdryer to harden and using templates to indent the clay to create real life texture. |
Leaf: Gluing leaves around a paper mache ball. |
Wax: Melting green and white wax and then pouring into warm water before submerging and rolling into a ball. |
Paper mache around a cotton ball and then painted. |
